In this year’s NHS NW Excellence in Procurement Awards, the highly commended award for Community Care went to Pearl Linguistics!
Judges were particularly impressed with our ability to demonstrate how much savings we were able to achieve for our customers with smart use technology and innovation, while still offering a high-quality, personal and tailor-made service.
We have been working with the UK’s largest spenders in Interpreting Services for over ten years. With Imperial College Hospitals, within 12 months of taking over their contract, we reduced their number of F2F interpreting bookings by 54% and reduced their cost by 48%.
Moreover, although the service is considerably more cost effective, it still has managed to achieve a very impressive fulfilment rate of 99.2% this year and similar percentages throughout last year. Service users are delighted. Finance and Procurement managers even more so!
