Pearl Linguistics exhibited at the Health Care Supply Association (HCSA) annual conference in Manchester for a third year in a row and were described as now being ‘part of the furniture’ by the head of Procurement at the Central Manchester Foundation Trust.
Public Sector expenditure is set to be increasingley restricted across the whole of the UK over the next three years. NHS procurement faces a significant challenge in continuing to deliver greater efficiences while maintaining the highest levels of service and quality.
Designed specifically for procurement personnel, contract managers, commissioners and suppliers, this year’s Health Care Supply Association Annual Conference & Exhibition brought together expert speakers to discuss how NHS procurement can best position itself to meet the requirements of a health care environment subject to increasing scrutiny from politicians, patients and other stakeholders.
The recent award of the HealthTrust Europe Framework to Pearl Linguistics for translation and interpreting services helps to combat the challenges that the NHS now faces in having to provide a high level of patient care whilst also reducing cost. The news of this Framework was welcomed by all who stopped by at our stand, once again securing Pearl Linguistics as one of the top providers to the NHS!
