To assist The Client with launching an advertising campaign in Brazil, Japan, China and Germany for a major food brand. Consumer focus group questionnaires needed to be translated from English, as well as internal memos on the TV Ad script and Social Media activities.
The Client is one of the world's largest marketing agency networks with nearly 100 offices worldwide.
The turnaround time was very short as time-to-market deadline was extremely tight. The questionnaires had to be culturally adapted in order to provide a valuable and useful market insight. Internal memos had to be clear and ensure subsequent brand integrity between various Client offices.
In order to make the surveys a valuable source of market research data, Pearl Linguistics assembled a team of linguists who were experts in the marketing domain and based in the countries, where the survey’s target audiences were based. The translations started immediately when The Client provided the text to Pearl, which allowed over 5000 words of creative material to be translated within 1 working day, in 4 languages. Proof-reading was also provided in this short period of time to ensure 100% accuracy and local suitability.
The Client has a reliable solution in place for meeting the demanding translation requirements of international marketing surveys. Accurate regional data is absolutely crucial in order to maintain brand consistency and reach the target audience with the intended message across all markets. The accurately translated internal memos allowed Client’s staff to share one vision in order to maintain the marcoms strategy across the TV and Social Media channels.
