It is with a sad tone that we say goodbye to a much loved Interpreting Booking Coordinator at Pearl Linguistics.
Osman Akhtar, a graduate in Law has been at Pearl Linguistics since February 2015 and has been an enthusiastic and hardworking member of the team, coordinating and managing various accounts throughout his time with us. He has built and maintained a professional relationship with both interpreters and clients and will be missed by all.
Having been an Interpreting Booking Coordinator for quite a while Osman admits his decision to part ways with Pearl was not an easy one. “It is hard to say goodbye to Pearl because of the relationships I have built with my colleagues, interpreters and clients”.
Osman always went out of his way to ensure our clients and service users received the best service possible: “the ultimate goal as a booking co-ordinator is to make sure the patient does not go to their appointment without an interpreter. I always felt a great deal of gratification in this role because I knew my actions and decisions always made a difference to someone’s life”. This is confirmed by the excellent feedback that Pearl Linguistics continues to receive from its clients.
Most of all, Osman will cherish the friendships and connections he has built with his fellow work colleagues during his time at Pearl. “The memories that I will hold dear to myself will be the ones shared with my colleagues, as they have made my time here more enjoyable and exciting. The greatest part about working for Pearl would be the staff as there is a great sense of camaraderie and cordiality amongst the team.”
We thank Osman for his dedication, enthusiasm and team spirit and wish him nothing but the best.
